My teen lives for chocolate chip pancakes, cupcakes, muffins, you name it, so I was happy to find this recipe for keto chocolate chip muffins. We try to limit sugar in our house as much as possible for multiple reasons, but you can always use sugar instead of the substitutions (this recipe calls for Swerve, but you can probably use monkfruit or whatever sub that works best for your family). Do you have a healthy recipe for chocolate chip muffins we could try?
I've recently heard people complaining about how keto is being forced on them everywhere and how unleathy it is, and I have to agree with the latter sometimes--many keto recipes have way too many calories and probably should never have been made! But if done right, eating keto really just means limiting your carbs and getting rid of sugar, which is great for many adults. I wouldn't advocate it for teens or kids; my teen, for example, still eats grilled cheese while I'm eating string cheese!
